Email to Prove Rom-Com are Different!

When I was a teenager, I read a book by Sidney sheldon and told my cousin brother-

“Sidney sheldon is an awful writer”

My brother didn’t argue with me he said-

Which book did you read?

when I told him the name, –Bloodline he said its one of the worst and told me to read “Master of the game”

20 years later, Sidney Sheldon is my favorite author and I am grateful to my bro

for letting me know my choice of book was not correct to judge the writer.

I would have missed reading the some of the best thriller+mystery novels  had

I not pushed my horizons.

 

So I asked all my friends on FB and here is the list of all the best

Rom-Coms of all time  and 3 imp points-

1)Most are hits and  allare classics- widely liked by public

2) I didn’t include any Meg ryan’s movies though hers are the best (You’ve got mail, When Harry Met Sally)

3) None of these have the cliched ending (In some the hero heroine do Not end up together)

4) Main in Manhattan was Jennifer’s biggest hit but it was not the “Biggest hit” in rom-com. (its not even in top 50 list of rom-coms anywhere)

 

 

Not necessary for you to watch all of them- not necessary for you to even reply to this mail-

its just so that you know there is a genre- which is hardly made in India and which is

the one we can very easily watch with our kids.  [coz its rom-com not romantic with hard core love scenes]

Arzeb Khan's Milestones

My Lovely son Arzeb was born on 28th November 2013,  Thursday - the Thanksgiving day.

Saving his milestones on my blog - so I can never forget how happy he made me feel.

First haircut

date: 01/08/2014   age: 5 weeks old

Arzeb's Father shaved off hair from his head 

after almost 40 days of his birth.

Simple ceremony at home- along with

Siwayaan cooked by me and distributed to friends.

Slept through the night

date: 02/15/2014   age: 2 months old: Week 3

So Arzeb slept 7 hours non - stop last night!!!
LIFE U are BEAUTIFUL!

First time rolling over

date: 03/17/2014   age: 3 months old: Week 3

Made Arzeb Lie down on his back a bit away

from the laptop and went to get his milk bottle- 

Came back to see he had rolled over and was lying on his 

stomach next to the laptop looking at its screen!

It was the FIRST time he completely rolled over.

(even if it was to spy on his Mom's lappy) 

First day of childcare

date: 03/26/2014   age: 3 months old: Week 4

Well - Mommy started her office today and the 'easy' boy he is,

Arzeb stayed with my friend Nargis all day.

But when I went to pick him up- he just came in to my arms

and didn't leave me fo the next half an hour.

Started solids

date: 03/31/2014   age: 4 months old

Arzeb just had to hit on our plates all the time- so as soon as he became 4 months old

we gave him lentils and he really loved it!

First time crawling

date: 06/15/2014   age: 6 months old: Week 3

Arzeb would earlier just make his body jump to change direction but now

he has started pushing with his feet to move forward. 

Seeing him crawl like that so early made me proud!

First tooth

date: 06/20/2014   age: 6 months old: Week 4

After many nights of pain and clenching of mouth-

my baby finally got his first set of two teeth.

He looks lovely right

First time standing up

He can STAND NOW!

Of course holding stuff up.

But he just loves to stand

First steps

date: 08/20/2014   age: 8 months old: Week 4

Well Arzeb got down from the trampoline and started taking steps towards Nargis.

As soon as he tooks two steps Sunny screamed- and he got down since he thought maybe

something done by him was wrong.

Did it again next day at home in front of Mom and at the doctor's appointment on 9/2/2014

Said "mama" or "dada"

date: 08/30/2014   age: 9 months old

So it finally happened-
my little baby said something for which he knows the context-
though he has wailed- "aa"-"maa" several times;
yesterday in the afternoon he woke up and even though I tried 
to make him play with me- he went over to his sleeping father
on the bed ; hit him hard on the shoulder and said
"Dada"
(PSlease prounce it as D and not the grandfather one  )
and "Da-da" woke giving him a million doollar smile-
I am sure wouldn't have been the case if someone
else did the same 

First Clap

Made him wear a cap which he didn't like much- so just clicked a pic and took it off.

Think of my surprise that as soon as I took it off- he clapped his hands!
