For Nisa

Days no longer simple, but busy and hard,

As life moves on to roads with new bends,

Every day comes, as we stand on guard,

A question echos in mind, 'What is a friend?'

Afternoons spent in laughter and screams,

Finishing sentences which had no sense,

Calling each other even after a busy day,

Those were the days, smiles had no end,

You had my back, and I had yours,

Messages needn't phones to be sent,

Understanding silences played a big part,

You were, always after all my best Friend!
