" The Society of Women Engineers is an international non-profit educational organization and was founded in 1950. It is headquartered in the United States. The Society of Women Engineers is the world’s largest advocate and catalyst for change for women in engineering and technology. SWE Pune is the first affiliate in India and started back in 2015 with 6 members. Today, they are a group of 300 members from 20+ organizations. SWE Affiliates in India have expanded the global footprint of SWE. They have the purpose to advance, aspire and achieve to expand the SWE platform initiatives.
